Early Intervention
North Star Academy's Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) programs have been extremely successful at teaching children with autism to better communicate their interests, form meaningful relationships, and develop other skills necessary for success in school and their social lives.
EIBI targets children with autism from diagnosis to age six, providing intense, one-on-one support from highly trained and qualified teachers. In the EIBI program, a behavioral consultant works closely with families to develop each child’s individualized goals. Parents and other family members also receive support and training on how to manage challenging behaviors at home.
North Star Academy provides EIBI at The Academy's Location in Overland Park, Mason House in Johnson County, Kansas, CLO’s offices in Douglas County, Kansas, and other in-home and off-site locations in the surrounding area.
